Ouchies!
I have yet to pay for internet service at my home, so during my time off of work I have to rely on anyone who will give me a few minutes at their c0mputer. Today, I thank Donnie & Meg. Thanks neighbors! I can't believe how painful a bunionectomy is. Even worse, it's gonna be another 2 days before I get to see what the doctor actually did, since it's all wrapped up, and I am NOT allowed to remove it, or get it wet. Which you can only imagine how wonderful bathing is. I haven't had to rely on anyone to help me bathe me since I can barely remember, and let me tell you, I don't like the reminder. I am so blessed to have your help Mario, but you're kinda worthless in the cleaning me up department. I know having to bathe me wasn't directly written into our vows, so I forgive you, and I totally commend you for your efforts. So I'm gonna leave it at that :) Back to the title, ouchies is right. I have a non-stop stinging pain in my foot. I'm yet to decide what's worse, taking my Vicodin & sleeping 15 hours of the day, or not taking it, and feeling the pain. As much as I thought sleeping for that long would be a dream come true, there's not a whole lot to do at 3am when your hubby is sleeping, and you don't have cable, or the internet. So I'm trying my hardest be tough, and deal with the pain. I figure if I can get through this I can get through child birth. I wasn't brave enough for pics, if you've seen my feet you'd know why. Maybe I'll post just an "after" pic & show off my scar.

Nothing to do at 3am except READ, right?
As far as pain, just imagine having the pain and then add a tiny, crying baby that needs to be fed, changed, held, people coming by to visit and wanting you to be social, a big fat (newly empty) body that's bleeding, 20 pound boobs filling up with milk....HAHA Makes you want to get pregnant, eh? Probably more than you wanted to know. In short, enjoy the luxury of sleeping all day, for it truly is a luxury. And get better soon!
Hope you get to feeling better soon. It's no fun being in pain, but sleeping 13 hours a day, I think I could handle that.
oh yes, sign me up for that kind of sleep. alright! of course, without the pain.
i think you're hilarious. you should start all of your postings like that... "today's posting was made possible by contributions from (donnie's) free internet access." lol it's like a pbs program.
How are you feeling now? I hope it doesn't take too long to recover!
