We're Going to Disneyland!

What better way to celebrate the happiest time of our lives (our one year anniversary), than at the happiest place on Earth. Mario & I have decided to go to Disneyland in April. So I was wondering if any of you know of any place to get discount tickets? I've been searching, but have had no luck. Maybe if any of you have extra tickets I could buy them? Any suggestions?

AAA. But, what I did this last time we went was - it was Nicholas' birthday so he was free in to one park so I bought a 2-fer, which was one park for one day and the other park for another day for the price of 1--It was at Vons down south. Call a Vons near where you are staying and ask them for their current deals. They have a few...they are for so-cal residents but they didnt ask for my ID or anything. I also paid cash, but a debit card you dont have to show ID either. Anyway, hope this helps...oh and MAKE SURE you go to city hall and get Happy Anniversary pins!!!!!! If you have any other questions email me!

Oh I forgot to tell you I still have my pass for California adventure for one day. I don't know if you would want it but you could try to use it.

Do you know when you are going? I don't know if you have vacation days to use up, but I would recommend staying away from Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and the weeks of the 6th and 13th. Your best bet would be to go the last week in April. The hours that week are shorter than other times, but it's because it won't be as busy. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the least busy days, and you can do so much more when you're not spending all day waiting in lines. The downside is they don't do the fireworks show on weeknights when it's not busy. For example, if you go on a weekday during spring break when they stay open until midnight, they do the fireworks show then. But if you go on a night that closes at 8:00, they don't. So I guess it depends on what exactly you want.

I don't know much about deals on tickets, but I would suggest buying your tickets ahead of time so you don't have to wait in line when you first get there.

If you're trying to watch your money, you could make sandwiches or something and not buy food in the park. I honestly don't think it costs much more than going out to eat anywhere else, but you could save $40-$50 a day by bringing your own food.

Any other questions? All my recent experiences are with kids and going while being pregnant. But we did go by ourselves almost 8 years to celebrate our 1 year anniversary. We had a fabulous time!
