So here goes, our first blog! I say "our" like Mario is actually part of it. He's not. I'm just getting used to this married thing, what's his is mine, what's mine is mine, I mean ours :) We've been married for almost a month now (4/25/08), and we're having a blast. I wish I had pics to put up, but those will come shortly. Add it to my list of things to do. Right after thank you notes. If you gave us a wedding present, I haven't forgot about you...I'm workin on 'em!! So I thought it would be cool to post a blog asking for advice. For those of you reading this that are married what do I need to know, what should I be doing? Any helpful hints, things that make your marriage work? I love Krista's advice about "date night". If anyone has anything to say, I'd love to hear it :) Stay tuned for more pics...

I think the date night is an awesome idea. My best friend Debbie Termeer, who used to be Debbie Walker years and years ago, way back when we had to hike 3 miles uphill in the snow to get to school (yeah right, like it really snows in Fresno), has date night every Friday night. They have been married for 30 years. It's little things like just going on a bike ride, eating pizza together, watching a new video release together, taking a walk--things like that--just your special time together, just the 2 of you. Anyway, you did a great job on your first blog........I went to Julia's site and saw your name and had to peek.......love ya Kristi and Mario.............love, aunt peggie
How fun that you are starting a blog. I've got you on my side bar. I'll be keeping in touch via the internet.
Yay for blogging!!! I'm so glad you have a blog. I just got your thank you note... so are you guys thinking of buying a house? :) Justin and I are SO excited that the prices are FINALLY in our range!!!
But anyway, so glad you have a blog. I'll be cheking in on it!
just have fun! keep doing the things that you did when you were dating/ engaged. you'll soon realize that it's the simple things in life that give you the biggest highs.
